Our client is a local authority based in West London who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Growth & Place department and assist in developing and implementing projects of work within their Regeneration Programme. You will manage development projects from inception to completion and you will also advise on development services including site searching, feasibility studies, financial appraisals, obtaining planning, budgeting, contract management, handover and final account.
You will be responsible for appointing and managing a range of property related professional services and procuring the design and construction elements of construction related services for corporate capital projects. You will also have responsibility for ensuring that all the objectives are met across development and delivery phases. Working in partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders you will ensure that they are fully informed throughout the developments.
Applicants for this post should be degree educated in Surveying, Construction, Development or similar and have a proven experience in project managing the delivery of commercial or housing regeneration projects, including working with developers and the local community. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members.
The role will initially be offered for 3 months and the rate will offered is £230-£250/day (inside IR35). Full JD available on application.
