Full Description

Our client in East London is looking to appoint a Project Manager (Case Management and Procurement). The Project Manager Case Management & Procurement is responsible, on behalf of the Programme Manager, for the specification, design and build, testing and implementation as well as migration of data from legacy system to a new social care finance solution for both children's and adults social care.

The role requires effective management of key work projects, work streams and work packages as well as co-ordination of the project management of any risks and issues arising for successful delivery of key objectives of the programme.

Key Responsibilities:

1.To work with key stakeholders, including routinely working with Head of Services and Service Directors, to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.

2.To establish and manage project governance arrangements and lead the project teams and/or work streams including, but not limited to, design and build, data migration etc. comprising of technical staff from the application support service and staff in Adult and Children's Social Care and Social Care Finance.

3.To monitor and manage all aspects of the projects as detailed in PMP / PMQ / PRINCE2, AGILE (Scrum & Kanban) or other agreed project management methodologies using adopted project management and resource planning tools

4.Manage Design & Build as well as the relevant programme work streams to ensure that the full scope is delivered as per user expectations, meeting business needs.

5.To undertake all duties with due regard to the provisions of health and safety regulations and legislation, Data Protection/GDPR, the Council's Equal Opportunities and Customer Care policies.

For this assignment it is essential that you have experience in a similar role previuosly and have a proven background in Project Management alongside the development and implementation of key objectives.

The role will be on an initial 3-6 month contract with a likely extension offered. The pay rate for this role is £350/day
