Full Description

The main overriding task in this role is to develop, plan and deliver project and regeneration initiatives in order to implement our clients' Town Centre Strategy.

You will advise and support the High Streets and Town Centres Manager in developing and implementing an Improvement Plan which promotes the success of town centres in this East London Borough.

In this role you will lead on regular monitoring and reviewing performance indicators in town centres, as required, against a baseline set out in the Town Centre Strategy. You will lead the engagement of external and in developing partnerships, as with relevant local businesses and other stakeholders to support the delivery of targeted projects.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in developing effective town centre development strategies. You will need a good knowledge of national, regional and local policy as it affects high streets and town centres, and of the key trends in regeneration delivery in high streets and town centres.

The role will run for at least 6 months (until end of October) and will pay +£26/hr (negotiable). The role is inside IR35.
