Our client is a local authority in Hertfordshire which is undergoing a significant amount of growth and change and they are seeking a Regeneration Project Manager to join their Programme Management Office for a contract position. You will take responsibility for supporting the delivery of our clients ambitious regeneration programme and the various regeneration projects within it. The role combines both well-developed project and programme management skills with equally strong experience of working in the regeneration / planning arena. You will assist with the conception, implementation, project management and delivery of projects within this programme of work. You may also be involved with commissioning and managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams to support project development and implementation.
To apply you will need to hold a relevant planning/surveying related qualification and a proven track record in delivering major regen projects. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members and you will a strong knowledge and knowledge of legislation pertaining to businesses, and especially of regeneration. You will be able to illustrate extensive project management capability including managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects. You will also have an extensive record of successful collaboration, liaison, influencing, negotiation and communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
The role will initially be offered for 3 months and the rate offered will depend on your experience but is expected to be between £300-£350/day and this role is inside IR35. Full JD available on application.
