We are looking for an accomplished M&E Project Manager with experience managing Local Authority projects for non-housing property. The role is responsible for the compliance and project management associated with, but not limited to, Gas, Air Conditioning, ventilation, L8 and Lifts.
The key requirement of the role covers both refurb and newly commissioned projects and you will be tasked with working to organise and manage the allocated projects. You will act as technical expert to check calculations and advise on best practice. You will be managing a multi project portfolio.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate extensive experience in a project lead capacity working within a Local Authority environment; we are not looking for someone purely from a contracting background. You will need to be fully conversant with all relevant design codes and UK building regs.
The initial contract will be 3-6 months and pay at least £300/day (umbrella). Our client is in East London so you will need to be prepared to work at sites across the Borough.
