Project Manager - Capital Projects and Property Maintenance

Our client is a local authority based in South East London who are seeking an experienced Capital and Property Maintenance Project Manager to assist in the efficient delivery of a number of new build and restoration projects in line with the Council's growth objectives. You will be responsible for appointing and managing a range of property related professional services and procuring the design and construction elements of construction related services for corporate capital projects. You will also have responsibility for ensuring that all the objectives are met across development and delivery phases. Working in partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders you will ensure that they are fully informed throughout the developments.

Applicants for this post should be degree educated in either Surveying or Planning and have a proven experience in project managing the delivery of commercial or housing regeneration projects, including working with developers and the local community. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members and you will a strong knowledge and knowledge of legislation pertaining to businesses, and especially of regeneration.

The role will be an on going rolling contract and the rate offered will be around £350 - £400 per day umbrella. Please get in touch for further information.
