Our client is a local authority in Hampshire which is undergoing a significant amount of growth and change and they are seeking a Project and Development Manager to join them for a contract role. You will be responsible for managing the implementation of various projects within an emerging and current integrated, multi-million pound, multi-agency infrastructure development and regeneration programme. You will assist with the conception, implementation, project management and delivery of projects within this programme of work. You may also be involved with commissioning and managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams to support project development and implementation.
To apply you will need to hold a relevant planning/surveying related qualification and a proven track record in delivering major regen projects. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members and you will a strong knowledge and knowledge of legislation pertaining to businesses, and especially of regeneration. You will be able to illustrate extensive project management capability including managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects. You will also have an extensive record of successful collaboration, liaison, influencing, negotiation and communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
The role will initially be offered until the end of March 2020 and the rate offered is up to £425p/day umbrella (this role is inside IR35). Full JD available on application.
