Our client is a local authority based in East Anglia who are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join their Growth Team and assist in the efficient delivery of a physical regeneration programme in line with the Council's growth objectives. Reporting to the Sustainable Communities and Partnerships Manager you will project manage large scale, high profile regeneration projects . Your main duties will include programme management all of the growth sites, give progress updates against milestones and produce resource plans
Applicants for this post should be degree educated in either Surveying or Planning and have a least 2 yrs experience in programme and project management and ideally have an understanding of planning and Planning Performance Agreements. You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members and you will a strong knowledge and knowledge of legislation pertaining to businesses, and especially of regeneration.
The role will initially be offered for 6 months and the rate will be around £350 - £450 p/hr. Full JD available on application.
