Our client based in the North West is looking to appoint a Programme Manager for fair cost of care. Reporting to the SRO for the programme, the Director of Market Development, the Programme Manager will lead the review of care provider costs in order to complete the Fair Cost of Care and Market Sustainability review.
The review will consider the costs of delivering care for the following care types:
- Care at Home (domiciliary care)
- Residential Care (over 65)
The Programme Manager will be responsible for driving the required outcomes to ensure a comprehensive and robust set of returns are made to DHSC on or before 14th October 2022, which includes the two mandatory cost of care exercises and the draft Market Sustainability Plan for the City. The programme will use established cost of care tools as commissioned by the LGA/ADASS.
As well as the above, you will be expected to consider the interdependencies with the wider Adult Social Care Charging Reforms and Fair Cost of Care Exercises and contribute to the wider thought leadership and work being undertaken in relation to those reforms
This assignment will last a minimum six months (possibility of extension to work on wider ASC reforms thereafter). The role will be 3/4 days per week with flexible working arrangements (1 day per week in the office – including Stakeholder engagement events)
