Our client based in East London is looking to appoint a Public Health Programme manager to to lead and deliver an innovative programme to improve how children, families and schools are supported to achieve healthy weight within the borough.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced programme manager to lead and deliver an innovative programme to improve how we support children, families and schools to achieve healthy weight within Tower Hamlets.
The focus of this programme of work will cover:
- the language and mechanisms used to communicate NCMP results; ensuring these are accessible, family-friendly, de-stigmatising and designed to support behaviour change
- the signposting and support provided to children and families
- engaging schools, using NCMP results to improve school action on health promotion more broadly.
Delivery of this programme of work will require close partnership working with schools, parents, academic partners and relevant colleagues in both the Clinical Commissioning Group and GP Care Group.
This assignment is set for an initial period of 6 months and the pay rate is £400/day umbrella.
