Our client is looking to appoint a Procurement Support Officer until the end of March, possibly beyond.
Your typical day to day duties will involve: gathering tender and all other information necessary to assist the Procurement Managers; managing and maintaining information on tender invitations and awarded contracts within appropriate filing systems; assisting with contract preparation; providing advice to colleagues across the Council in respect of procurement processes.
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role due to the specialism of this kind of work. Good admin skills are absolutely essential and you will need to be able to quickly learn IT systems and processes so you will need to show initiative.
Our client is a Local Authority in East London and they are looking to pay around £16/hr (umbrella).
