Full Description

Our client is one of the largest Local Authorities in the UK. They required an accomplished Procurement Project Manager to work directly with the Assistant Director and Senior Management Team in supporting the overall change and necessary project management aspects of their very active procurement programme.

You will have a vital role to play leading on the revision and updating of key project related documents ready for onward review with senior stakeholders in the Council so you will need an excellent eye for detail and an ability to present complex detailed information in a concise and clear format.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record, an excellent knowledge of procurement protocol and contracts within a Local Authority setting and high level experience around project managing n organisational change. Excellent communication skills are critical and you will need to be able to demonstrate previous experiencer working within a complex, diverse and dynamic organisation

The contract will run for 6 months minimum and they are looking to pay £450 / day but are open to negotiation. Our client is based in the West Midlands.
