Full Description

Great opportunity to join our client’s corporate team leading procurement work streams within Adult Social care, Children and Health Services.

The role we predominantly be home based with attendance at the office only expected to be once or twice a month to attend meetings.

You will be assigned procurement streams in line with your specific experience across the areas mentioned above. You will play a key role in developing best practice commissioning, procurement and contract management arrangements in the Council, working with other team members to improve existing practice

We are looking for those with the ability to manage high value/high risk procurement projects at all stages including market engagement, tendering, evaluation and contract execution. You will need an excellent working knowledge of PCR 2015 and its application and you will need to be competent in assessing and mitigating procurement risks.

Good communication skills are essential alongside an excellent knowledge of e-tendering Systems such as Pro Contract.

The rate will be £400/day (inside IR35) and ideally our client is looking for full time commitment although part-time will be consider. They are based in South West London and the initial contract will be at least 5 months.
