Our client in South East London is offering a contract up to 12 months on a 5 days per week or 3 days per week basis depending on your preference.
You will have responsibility for coordinating the Commissioning Division’s procurement programme. A key function of your role will be keeping projects on track and helping to identify where action is required to ensure delivery of key milestones. Your work will be focused on health and social care projects, an extremely busy sector with great career prospects.
On a daily basis you will be working with colleagues across the Council, particularly those in the Corporate Procurement team to help develop effective work processes
We are looking for someone with excellent admin skills, a high level of IT competency and strong communication skills. Any previous procurement experience would be an advantage and it does no necessarily have to have come from a social or health care setting.
You will need good report writing skills with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, concise format as various stakeholders will access and will use on a daily basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate looking to set up. Our client is also happy to consider more established candidates who may be in a similar role at the moment; they will pay a higher rate for those meeting this criteria.
The rate offered is £27.90/hr (umbrella), roughly equivalent to a salary of around £35-£38k per annum.
