Our client based in the South East of England is looking to appoint a Procurement and Contract Management Advisor to join their procurement team, with a focus on construction and development.
The role itself is set for an initial period of 12 months, with a very possible extension thereafter, meaning there is a great opportunity for stability and progression within this position.
The client is really looking for someone to hit the ground running in this position, so somebody that has previous local authority experience would be desired although other relative experience will also be considered.
Some key experience that would be desired:
-Public Contract Regulations;
- OJEU procurement
- public sector frameworks
- e-tendering tools;
- placing adverts and bids
- producing tender packs
- Political astuteness
