Our local authority client, based in North Kent are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Housing Officer. This will be a separate project identifying HMOs and carrying out surveys therefore local knowledge will put you in a strong position.
In order to be considered, you must have in depth working knowledge of Housing Act and associated regulations , The Housing Health & Safety Rating System and local authorities regulatory and enforcement powers in relation to HMOs and private sector housing. In addition candidates must have detailed knowledge of the regulatory framework relating to HMOs & Licensing.
This contract will run for an initial three months with the potential of it extending. 37 hours per week.
