Our client, based in County Durham are looking to an experienced Private Sector Housing Officer to carry out Housing inspections, re-inspections and surveys and to be responsible for the investigation, enforcement and manage a caseload. You will be asked to prepare and serve Statutory Notices and take enforcement action in line with the Council's strategy and departmental enforcement policies and to report and/or advise where statutory action is not appropriate and to initiate prosecutions for failure to comply with statutory instruments where appropriate
In order to be considered it is essential that you have knowledge of Housing Act 2004 and knowledge of different types of HMO's. It is absolutely essential that you have experience in surveying large HMO's for a local authority.
If successful you will be offered an initial 3 month contract paying £28-£32PH LTD.
