Our local authority client, based in Surrey are seeking an experienced Private Sector Housing Officer – Compliance to join our team on a full-time, 6-month contract. This role focuses on ensuring compliance across private sector housing, driving up standards and protecting residents through effective regulation and enforcement.
You will work a hybrid pattern (3 days on site, 2 days from home) and will be responsible for inspections, compliance monitoring, enforcement activity, and advising landlords and stakeholders in line with housing legislation. A strong, practical understanding of statutory requirements and regulatory processes is essential.
A background in a local authority housing is a must. The role offers a competitive rate of £45 per hour, making it ideal for an experienced professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results from day one.
