Our local authority client, based in East London have an excellent opportunity for those looking for a long term contract. Our client are offering a 12 month contract for a Private Sector Housing Licencing Scheme Project Manager. The Private Sector Housing selective property licencing scheme comes to an end in August 2024.This fixed term project manager role requires you to work within Private Sector Housing and with a range of stakeholders to manage the implementation of a new five-year borough-wide licencing scheme. This will require you to critically analyse past performance against the objectives of the current scheme and to coordinate the submission of an evidence-based report to the Secretary of State at the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities for approval. We have a full JD available upon request.

Essential requirements for this role is experience. They will not consider anyone who has not or is currently not working within an Environmental Health Management level, within the EH Housing Team. As mentioned, this is a 12 month contract starting as soon as possible. Hybrid working is in place but they have requested that you are available to be office based at least 2 days per week. This can be negotiated down to 1 day per week in due course. Day rates will be between £400/£450 per day.
