Osborne Richardson are working with a Local Authority in South East London who have an excellent opportunity for a driven Principal Planner to play a key role in helping them to deliver development within the borough.
They require a Principal Planner with experience of working on strategic applications of 150+ units who can hit the ground running to join them for a contract which will initially be offered for 6 months but we have been informed that it is expected to be extended beyond this. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to project manage a number of large and controversial applications, including GLA referable applications.
The position requires an excellent understanding of the Development Management process and ideally experience of giving evidence at Examinations in Public. Experience of working within a Local Authority setting would be beneficial but is not essential.
Our client is offering an excellent rate of between £35-£45/hr umbrella (this role is inside IR35) depending on experience and they also offer home working, up to 2 days per week. A job spec is available, please get in touch for further information.
