Our client is looking to appoint a Senior/Principal Planning Officer a contract role which will initially be offered for 3 months, but could be extended beyond this.
Working within their Development Management Team you will be required to handle fast track major applications and pre-app advice and to support our clients Housing Delivery projects
To apply you will need a relevant planning degree, extensive development management experience and an excellent knowledge of UK planning regulations and guidance; ideally you will be professionally accredited. You will need to have good leadership and negotiation skills and be comfortable dealing with external organisations.
Our client is a Local Authority based in East London and requires 2 days per week in the office. The rate offered is £39.85/hr Umbrella.
