Excellent opportunity to secure a long term contract working in South West London.
Our client is a Local Authority who has a diverse and busy caseload of planning applications and they need to appoint a Principal Planner to manage major applications. They are offering an initial 6 month contract which is likely to extend given workload.
As a Principal Planner your duties will cover: major, complex planning applications, listed Building Consent Applications, dealing with pre-application Advice Requests, preparing Planning Committee Reports and appeal statements and representing the Council where necessary at planning committee meetings.
We are looking for an established Principal level Officer who can demonstrate experience within a Local Authority setting. Ideally you will have knowledge of Idox/Uniform.
The rate on offer is £60/hr (Umbrella).
