A Principal New Homes Development Project Manager is required for a contract role with a Local Authority in North London which will initially be offered for 3 months but is expected to run for up to 5 months. You will take the lead role in a dynamic team working on a range of high profile development projects. Essentially your core function will be to lead the delivery of our clients mid size residential developments from planning to completion.
To carry out this role successfully you will need a wealth of experience in housing development which ideally will have been gained within a housing association or local authority setting. You will be required to influence the strategic planning process at all levels to ensure that housing development in the borough meets the full range of housing needs our client has.
You will need experience of working within a politically driven organisation operating at a senior level with elected or board members. You will be able to illustrate extensive project management capability including managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects. You will also have an extensive record of successful collaboration, liaison, influencing, negotiation and communication with a wide range of stakeholders. Appropriate academic / professional qualifications are expected at this level.
The rate offered for this role will be between £28-£30/hr and this position will be inside IR35. Please get in touch for more information including a job spec.
