Our client, based in Gloucestershire are looking to appoint an experienced Principal Environmental Health Officer to deliver a specific externally funded project to ensure the compliance and enforcement of The Energy Efficiency (Private Rented Property) (England and Wales) Regulations 2015. You will be expected to set up systems, procedures, guidance and templates to enable the Compliance and Enforcement of the MEES regs. You will also help develop and undertake a marketing plan and materials to raise awareness of the MEES regulations amongst landlords and tenants.
Our client requires an experienced officer who is EHORB registered and holds the HHSRS. You must have the skills and experience to both set up and deliver the project so as to leave an enforcement legacy for the future of this work, which will involve training other enforcement officers across Gloucestershire.
This is a full time post, working 37 hours per week. Due to the short term nature of the project and the amount of work to be achieved part time working could not be considered. At most our client may consider 37 hours worked over 4 long days.
You must be available within the next 2 weeks and be able to commit to a 6 month contract. Competitive rates are available, starting from £37 per week.
