Our client is a Local Authority based in East Anglia and they require an experienced Principal Planning Enforcement Officer to pick up an existing caseload and handle it from start to finish, carefully managing the workload within agreed timescales and within their expected delivery targets.
Applicants must have significant Enforcement experience including operational, legal and technical issues. You will have experience of investigating and resolving difficult, high profile and significant breaches of legislation, dealing with the public in potentially confrontational situations and of report writing, briefing notes and producing witness statements.
To be considered for this role you will need a significant amount of work experience in the field and you will need a good knowledge of current planning legislation. You will need to be able to work well under you own initiative as you will be expected to take control of your own caseload. As a Principal Officer you will also be required to support to the Team Leader in managing and providing guidance to junior members of the team.
This contract will initially run until the end of January 2020 and rate offered will be between £35 - £40p/hr umbrella (this role is inside IR35). Please get in touch for more information.
