Our client is a Local Authority in North London and they are seeking a Principal Design and Conservation Officer to take responsibility for the providing specialist advice on conservation and urban design matters relating to planning applications and to help guide new developments in the borough. Our client works with some of the best architects in the country on buildings and developments of national and international importance and they need an officer with proven technical experience of working with listed buildings to work alongside them and provide expert advise and guidance.
Applicants for this post must have a post grad qualification in Town Planning and relevant post qualification experience in a planning environment of which a significant element relates to conservation.
The role is a contract post which will initially run until the end of August 2020 and the rate offered will be between £35-£40/hr inside IR35. Please get in touch for a copy of the job spec and further details.
