Osborne Richardson have an excellent role with a Local Authority in East London for a Principal Conservation who can take responsibility for providing specialist advice on conservation matters and help guide new developments in the borough.
Our client needs an officer with proven technical experience of working with listed buildings to work alongside them and provide expert advise and guidance. You will be responsible for handling pre-application advice, applications, negotiations with developers, appeals and enforcement work.
Applicants for this post must have a post grad qualification in Town Planning and at least 3 years post qualification experience in a heritage planning environment, ideally with a Local Authority in the UK.
The role is a contract post which will initially be offered for 2 months but is expected to be extended and the rate offered will depend on your level of experience. This role is inside IR35. This will be a home working position but you will be required to carry out site visits were appropriate.
