We are currently working with a client in Kent helping recruit to a number of roles within their Port Health team. They need to increase head count significantly as they look to build a team to deal with the high volume of work brought about through Brexit and the need to adapt to new border control processes. They will also see a significant increase in the number of checks on ROW products, Organic products and fish.
We are now looking to recruit to the following permanent posts:
- Port Health Manager x2 - Port Health Team Leader x4 - Senior Port Health Officer x5 - Port Health Officer x5
We are looking for those from an Environmental Health background, ideally with experience in a local authority food safety team. Any specific experience of port health work would be a big advantage.
Our client may consider those with suitable food safety / environmental health qualifications who are not currently in a food related role.
