Our client, based in London are looking for Senior Port Health Officer you will be carrying out checks on imports of products of animal origin and high risk food not of animal origin. You will be involved with checks on organic food, illegal unreported and unregulated fishing, animal composites and other relevant controlled goods. On a daily basis you will carry out document checks, serving to protect public health by applying port health controls on imports in accordance with relevant statutory provisions, rules and international trading standards.
You will be right on the front line as the country adapts to the changes brought about through Brexit and as such you will have the chance to take up a unique role with excellent career prospects
