In this role you will specifically focus on projects to do with social housing, working for a Local Authority in North London.
You will have full responsibility for contract administration as Project Manager / Client Agent for major works programmes. A key function of the role is to ensure value for money and you will be responsible for monitoring budgets and ensuring contracts are delivered to specification. Our clients annual budget is £50m.
It will be your role to ensure that a robust Change Control mechanism is implemented including Early Warning Notices , Change Control Instructions and Requests for Information. You will be expected to actively contribute to the monitoring and benchmarking of programme KPIs. As the Project Manager you will be a key contact for a wide range of stakeholders to included residents, councillors, and members of other teams across the organisation.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience managing social housing schemes. We need someone with excellent contracts knowledge and high level communication skills. You will be a confident decision maker with the ability to resolve problems efficiently.
The role will pay at least £400/day and we expect the contract to be at least 6 months, probably longer given workload.
