Our client is a Local Authority who requires a Planning Policy Officer to assist them with the preparation, monitoring and review of their Local Plan. Specifically you will be supporting the policy team during a Regulation 18 consultation for a new Local Plan that is underway, and starting work on development of the new Local Plan.
Candidates will ideally have either Planning Policy or Development Management experience but recent graduates with some recent relevant work experience will also be considered. You will need to be well organised with good data management skills, have the ability to manage a large amount of complex information and excellent communication skills are essential as you will be engaging with the community and stakeholders. A degree in planning or other appropriate professional qualification is required.
This role are based in South West London and will initially be offered as 3 month contracts but there is potential for extension. The rate will be between £20-£24/hr Umbrella. Please get in touch for further details including a job spec.
