DM Planning Officer required by our client in East London to undertake a role that will involve the processing and negotiation of pre-application proposals including co-ordinating all associated assessment work and providing input into planning statements/briefs/and appropriate technical practice notes. You will work on a wide range of planning applications including listed building consents and conservation area consents so this is an excellent opportunity to gain a broad range of experience working within one of London's most rapidly developing Boroughs.
To apply for this role you will need a good working knowledge of UK planning legislation. You will need experience processing planning applications and you will need to be comfortable managing a busy caseload. The role is most likely to suit someone looking to broaden their experience from minor apps work. A relevant, RTPI accredited, degree level qualification is required.
