Planning Officer sought for an initial 6 month contract to cover additional workload for a North London local authority.
You will be responsible for the processing of planning applications and:
• The provision of general planning advice
• The processing of planning appeals
• Development of planning policy and associated documents
• Investigation of breaches and recommendations in respect of planning control
• Continuing professional development in Town Planning
• Mentoring/guidance of more junior team members.
The postholder will operate within a team dealing with Development Management.
It’s initially a 6 month contract and our client offers hybrid working.
This role is inside IR35 and the rate offered will depend on your experience, but is expected to be between £25-£30/hr Umbrella.
