Our client has a Planning Officer vacancy within their Development Management team. The role will see you working on range of planning applications and require you to provide pre-application advice, process planning applications and issue Certificate of Lawfulness. On a daily basis, inline with our clients service-wide and corporate performance indicators, you will assess, negotiate and set out clear and robust recommendations in an accurate, well written officer report based on relevant planning policies and other material considerations.
To apply for one of these roles you will need recent experience within a Local Authority Development Management Team. You will need to be able to work under pressure when required and quickly and efficiently in order to maintain our clients service standards. A degree level qualification in a relevant town planning discipline is required, full RTPI Chartership is not essential.
Our client is a Local Authority in North West London and this will initially be offered as a3 month contract but due to the high volume of planning applications they have, this role has potential to be extended.
The rate offered is £28/hr Ltd (inside IR35).
This is a hybrid role and you will need to go into the office once a week.
