Our client is offering an excellent opportunity to take up a role in their Majors Team where you will focus on progressing applications in conjunction with housing development by the Council. Most applications are minor in nature, less than 10 units, and will need to be processed efficiently to meet agreed deadlines.
They are looking for someone with solid DM experience within a Local Authority and ideally you will have gained some experience of presenting cases to planning committee. You will need to be comfortable managing a fluctuating but often busy workload.
The initial role will be offered for 6 months but there is a very strong likelihood of extension and our client is keen to offer progression and development to allow you to move onto major schemes. This is an excellent role for an established DM Planning Officer looking to progress and take on more responsibility.
Our client is based in SE London and will offer a rate of at least £40/hr (umbrella), possibly higher for those with a high level of experience.
