This role is working for a Local Authority in East London in a densely populated, multi-cultural area that experiences a high demand on their planning service. Working here as a Planning Officer can be challenging but also hugely rewarding.
You will join a supportive team that will help you develop and you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility. From day one, you will be expected to take on a caseload of minor apps to include householders and some commercial change of use cases
As a Planning Officer in DM you will work under supervision of more senior Planners. We are looking for a Degree qualified Planner who has gained experience in a Local Authority and has a good knowledge of UK planning legislation.
The pay rate will be at least £28.50/hr (umbrella). The standard week is 35 hours and the initial contract will be 3-6 months and is likely to extend. Our client will offer hybrid working.
