Our client, based in the North West of England requires a degree qualified Town Planner to carry out a role within their Development Management Team. Your work will focus on dealing with a caseload of householder and minor applications planning applications and you will be providing expert technical advice at every stage. On a daily basis you will be completing reports, carrying out site visits where required and representing the Council at committee.
Recent work experience in the field is essential and your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines will need to be fully up to date. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to convey complex, detailed information in a clear, concise format.
The role will be offered for an initial 3 month period but could be extended beyond this due to our clients workload. The rate offered is £23 p/hr umbrella.
