This role sits within the Development Management Team of a Local Authorities Planning department and will require you to take on a varied case load of household and minor applications. You will join a busy team and will therefore need to be able to pick up work from day one. Working within our clients agreed parameters you will provide technical input and advice and have responsibility to liaise with relevant stake holders to guide them through the planning process. It is essential that you are able to work quickly and confidently to provide useful information and to ensure service delivery is efficient and professional.
To apply for this role you will need a relevant town planning degree. You will need an excellent knowledge of UK planning legislation and you ideally you will have experience working on behalf of a local authorities planning department. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and manage your workload to agreed deadlines.
The role is based in North East London and our client is looking for a quick start. Given their workload this role has potential to extend for some time. Rates are negotiable and will depend on experience but we expect £23-£25/hr.
