Our client is a local authority who require a DM Planning Officer to undertake a role that will involve the processing and negotiation of pre-application proposals including co-ordinating all associated assessment work and providing input into planning statements/briefs/and appropriate technical practice notes. You will work on a wide range of planning applications inclduing householder extensions, to changes of use, advertisement consents and medium sized schemes between 5 and 20 residential units.
To apply for this role you will need a good working knowledge of UK planning legislation. You will need at least a years experience of processing planning applications and you will need to be comfortable managing a busy caseload. The role is most likely to suit someone looking to broaden their experience from minor apps work. A relevant, RTPI accredited, degree level qualification is required.
The role is based in East London, will pay at least £25/hr (umbrella) and run for a minimum of 6 months so this is an excellent opportunity. Contact us for full details.
