Our client is a Local Authority based in East London and they require a degree qualified Town Planner to carry out a role within their Development Management Team. Your work will focus on dealing with a caseload of planning applications - predominantly straightforward householder though there is also scope for progression to work on more complex cases and commercial properties.
This would be an excellent opportunity for a graduate with some recent relevant work experience. Your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines will need to be fully up to date and you must have good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to convey complex, detailed information in a clear, concise format.
The role will be offered for an initial 3 month period but will be a rolling contract and the rate offered will be between £20.00 - £25.00 per hour umbrella depending on your experience. A full JD is available.
