Planning Enforcement Officer required by a client in South West London to manage and handle a varied caseload across the Borough. You will be required to investigate suspected planning breaches and work to resolve them efficiently. As required you will be conducting site visits and documenting relevant technical information to help inform the decision making process and where necessary act as evidence in prosecution cases.
To apply for this role you will need to have carried out a similar role within a local authority setting. Formal planning qualifications are not absolutely essential if you can demonstrate an appropriate level of experience to be able to manage your own caseload and you have a strong knowledge of the UK planning system particular in relation to planning enforcement issues and development management.
The role will initially be offered as a 3 month contract but is expected to be extended. Our client is looking for someone who can start ASAP and the are looking to pay up to £34/hr umbrella. Please get in touch for further details.
