This is a lead role in which you will play a significant part, heading up a small but well established planning consultancy. Based in Cheltenham the company work on a variety of planning schemes throughout the country - from small commercial projects, to large scale housing developments. As an accomplished director, you will be tasked with motivating, developing and managing the performance of others as well as facilitating the professional and personal development of staff. You will be joining an award-winning company, who have already established their name in the market and are now looking to expand their Cheltenham office. Evidence of strong technical expertise as well as work winning ability will be pivotal for this role.
Role Requirements
In this role you will be responsible for leading the team of planners in progressing their professional development and growth. You'll be asked to apply your knowledge and effectively respond to changing markets, in order to deliver an outstanding consultancy service to the organisation's existing and emerging client base. The company are seeking a commercially aware professional that can spot good business opportunities. Applicants should have at least 10 years of planning experience.
You will be educated to degree level and ideally be MRTPI Chartered.
