Our client is based in East London, close to the Essex border.
They are looking for an experienced Planning Officer to work in their Planning Applications Team.
They are predominantly working from home but there is requirement to make site visits. You can use one of their pool cars or you would need to take effective arrangements to undertake site visits.
As well as managing a caseload of apps you may need to attend Planning Committee meetings.
It is essential that you have a good knowledge of UK planning regs and ideally you have worked in a Local Authority setting previously.
They are offering £28 per hour which reflects the level of the role, it is likely to suit a planning grad with 12-18 months experience.
