This is an excellent opportunity for a local authority Town Planner to take up a role working in one of the sectors most topical areas - Affordable Workspace. Our client is involved with an ongoing project to develop new space through redevelopment and new projects in an effort to improve the economic prospects of the local area through effective and considered town planning consultations.
The role will provide you with a chance to be fully involved at every stage and you will be working closely with developers to take projects from an initial concept and idea through to completion. You will be working as part of a team and will have support but you will also be expected to take the initiative and make use of your strong communication skills and planning knowledge to provide appropriate, informed advice that factors in all stakeholders and considers the challenges and planning objectives of the authority.
You will to hold a relevant UK planning qualification and any additional training or formal qualifications you hold in project management would be very useful. You will need to be extremely well organised with a disciplined and methodical approach to working on multiple project streams at any given time. It is absolutely essential that you are confident and ambitious and focused on succeeding, particularly when faced with problems that require creative solutions.

Our client is based in North London and will pay at least £22/hr which is reflective of the level of experience they are looking for.
