Our client, based in the South West are looking for 2 people to come in and assist in the Environmental Protection team.
The first person is an Environmental Protection Officer to work as a member of a team in ensuring the responsive and effective delivery of a high quality Environmental Health service to the community. They require someone who is extremely proficient in statutory nuisance, pollution and reactive noise work and well as being able to process planning applications.
The second role is looking for a Principal EHO/Team Leader to oversee the Environmental Projection Team, as you will be overseeing this team having the EHRB certificate along with PEHO experience would put you in a very strong position.
Both roles have arisen due to retirements in the team so you will be in place until a replacement is found, if you are interested you will be considered for the permanent role too. The initial contract will be for 3-4 months however this maybe extended until a permanent member of the team is found and the pay will depend on the role you apply for as well as your qualifications and experience.
