Our client in East London are looking for a Noise Nuisance Officer to Lead on Statutory Noise Nuisance and Building works using the EPA Act 1990 and COPA. You will be working with enforcement officers to gather evidence and breaches and taking cases to court and prosecuting individuals and businesses.
TO be successful you will need an In-depth knowledge of Environmental Health / Noise Nuisance enforcement responsibilities and legislation and well as Experience of involvement in project led enforcement activity and you will need to be educated to degree level, specialist field qualification desirable e.g. diploma in Acoustics etc.
The role will be office and field based working mainly Mon-Fri office time hours however the candidate will need to be flexible to work evenings and weekends when required for evidence gathering in noise cases. If you are successful you will be given a full time, permanent contract with a Base Salary of £46,041 with a top Point Salary of £49,083.
