Our client, in East London are looking for a Neighbourhood Area Manager who will manage a team of Neighbourhood Officers including anti-social behaviour officers. The manager will ensure that his team are pro-actively carrying out envirocrime enforcement (fly tipping, littering, waste containment, dirty land, flyposting, dog fouling, graffiti, etc.), dealing with anti-social behaviour, noise & nuisance (including out of hours) and monitoring street cleansing, waste collection and grounds maintenance contracts. This post requires flexible working hours including weekends and evenings, participation in a duty roster, including the Local Authority Liaison Officer roster, and use of own vehicle to travel between places of work/activity.
The successful candidate will have by up to date with all relevant legislation and will possess experience enforcing that legislation as well management experience within a Local Authority. As mentioned you must have your own vehicle and be able to drive throughout the placement.
You will be offered an initial 3 month contract to the end of the year initially and will be paid £225-£275 per day LTD. JD available on request.
