Full Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Licensing Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role, primarily office-based with the potential for site visits, and offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting a busy licensing service.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include providing advice and guidance to property licence applicants, processing and managing applications, maintaining and updating housing-related databases, and liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will also support Environmental Health Officers during inspections and contribute to service improvements and the streamlining of licensing processes.

To be considered, you’ll need proven experience in a similar administrative, process-driven role within a regulatory or compliance environment, along with the ability to hit the ground running. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential, as is the confidence to work independently as well as part of a wider team.

In return, you’ll benefit from a competitive rate of £25-£30 per hour (umbrella), the flexibility of hybrid working, and the chance to support a local authority in delivering effective licensing services. This is a full-time contract, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
