Our client is looking for a Licensing Officer with experience of the Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005. Our client is in Buckinghamshire.
You will undertake appropriate compliance, inspection and enforcement activity as required across a range of licensing areas. You will not be required on the district every day and you can work from home when not needed.
You will provide specialist technical advice guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders on licensing matters including either premises, gambling and all miscellaneous licensing matters or taxi and private hire licensing.
To be considered for this role you will need previous experience in a Local Authority licensing team. You will need to be competent enough to manage your own caseload and work under minimal supervision.
You will need business insurance and your own vehicle for visits. A DBS check will be needed prior to starting work.
The rate is £33/hr and the standard week is 37 hours.
