Our client, based in Yorkshire is looking to appoint an experienced Licensing Officer for a short term contract. They require someone to carry out straightforward site visits, inspections (premises, vehicles and documentation) and observations, (outside normal office hours where necessary) to secure compliance with legal requirements and licence conditions. You will also be expected to Issue legal notices in relation to suspension of taxi vehicle licences.
In order to be considered you must have good Understanding and general knowledge of licensing issues and legislation, experience of carrying out basic investigations or inspections. You must also have flexibility and willingness to occasionally work outside of normal office hours as this may be required on occasion.
This contract is for an initial two month period and our client is willing to negotiate on the hourly rate.
